Tom Crowley

Tom Crowley is a writer, actor and comedian. 

Tom’s extensive writing credits include the BAFTA-winning The Amazing World of Gumball (Cartoon Network), Four Sad Faces (BBC Radio 4), Zombies, Run!: New Adventures (Six to Start), The Scarifyers (Bafflegab Productions), The News Quiz (BBC Radio 4) and the debut episode of BBC Sounds’ anthology drama Murmurs, which was nominated for a BBC Audio Drama Award in 2021. He is also the playwright behind the critically-acclaimed stage adaptation of the Rocky Horror sequel Shock Treatment (King’s Head Theatre, 2015). He has written a number of stage comedies for children at Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells and his modernised stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’s Great Expectations was published by Methuen Drama in 2017. Tom is a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme and the King’s Head Trainee Director Scheme.

As an actor, Tom recently appeared as a series regular in the US TV series The Royals on the E! Network. He can be heard in the Prix Europa-nominated podcast sitcom Wooden Overcoats for which he is also a series writer. He is also a regular contributor to the hugely successful Beef and Dairy Network Podcast, as heard on BBC Radio 4, and has lent his voice to numerous other comedy and drama productions for BBC Radio 4, BBC Cymru Wales, Fremantle Media and Audible in recent years.
