Eleri is a comedian, writer and actor from West Wales. Funny charming and a little bit manic, she is a regular contributor for BBC WALES, BBC SESH, BBC CMYRU and RADIO 4. She has written/script edited for Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, The Now Show, The News Quiz, The Leak, Welcome Strangers, Newsjack and DMs Are Open. She was a series regular in the 2nd series of the improvised sitcom ‘Tourist Trap on BBC One Wales.
She has form on social media – she was at the centre of a Brexit related tweet storm when a light hearted joke post about the Celtic nations seceding from the UK went viral and saw her branded as an ‘entho-nationalist’ (she’s emphatically not) and in 2021 her house (painted pink) spent some time as ‘the most Instagrammed property in Cardiff’.
Eleri recently wrote/presented a documentary for S4C about enviromental anti-natalism called Dyfodol I Dewi and wrote/presented a BBC Radio Wales documentary about dyspraxia. She is writing a sketch show for S4C and is a member of the BBC Comedy Collective. She was the lead in the acclaimed touring show ‘le le le’ for TheatreGenCymru.
